She thought Bambi was already taken, so she nicknamed her friend Bambele.
Well, Bambele loves Betty Grodnitzky’s backyard. Bambele shows up night after night and day after day. Bambele brings friends and has brought family over to meet Ms. Betty.
So Betty took out a camera and started taking pictures.
Those pictures are now in a book for all of us to see.

Betty’s husband died suddenly of a heart attack. A few years later her daughter committed suicide. These animals mean so much for Betty.
