PERRY HALL, Md. — Town Square opened their adult day enrichment center on Wednesday, designed to help care for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia.
The center has a retro diner and a movie theater that takes visitors back to the 1950s. There's also a health club for physical therapy, a library, a game room, garden center and a more.
"We're not here to fool anybody, we want to make a space that is comfortable," said Christina Chartrand of Town Square. "Typically that seniors that are here were in their early 20s and 30s, they were living during this time, so when they walk in it's a lot of reminiscing a lot of engagement."
The Perry Hall center is Town Square's second location. The company hopes to open more locations in Maryland and around the country.
