WOODLAWN, Md. (WMAR) — A 66-year-old man is dead and a woman is severely injured following a Saturday house fire in Woodlawn.

The fire broke out just before 3:45 p.m. at 6105 Windsor Mill Road.

Arriving crews found smoke coming from the kitchen.

A woman inside was able to escape on her own, but later firefighters found Clarence Alvin Foster unconscious on the dining room floor.

He was taken to Sinai Hospital where he later died. The woman was taken to Shock Trauma with critical injuries.

Investigators determined the fire was caused by a cooking accident.

The incident is the second deadly accidental fire that happened in Baltimore County over the weekend.
