If you're looking to lace up your sneakers for a good cause this weekend, we've got just the event for you.
There's a special walk and run for female veterans. They're just waiting for Saturday in Windsor Mill for the Baltimore County Delta Foundation's annual 5k/10k.
The organization supports women in the military and female veterans through scholarships and services.
They partner with groups to help them with resources likes housing. This will be the fifth year.
"Our theme is walking for those who serve and there in parentheses military and veteran women and it does resonate with most people."
"These are women who have served, who have provided resources for our military who assist with protecting us every day."
