MILFORD MILL, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a fatal crash Monday morning in Milford Mill involving a Baltimore County Fire Department medic unit.
The department said at 12:16 a.m., the Randallstown Fire Station's Medic 18 was called for a medical emergency involving a patient with chest pain in to the 1500 block of Ingleside Ave.
While in emergency status, traveling eastbound on Liberty Road, a Toyota Camry was leaving a parking lot and tried to make a left turn onto westbound Liberty Road when the medic hit the car on its driver side, pushing the car into three parked cars.
Police said 67-year-old Elmer Everett Creek was taken to Northwest Hospital where he died. The medic crew was taken to Shock Trauma as a precautionary measure and was released Monday morning.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team responded to the scene to conduct the crash reconstruction and further the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
