Woman in critical condition following a targeted Lansdowne double shooting

LANSDOWNE, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting in Lansdowne that left two people injured.

Just after 7:30 p.m., police responded to the Lansdowne Shopping Center, in the 3900 block of Hollins Ferry Road, for a call of a shooting. Officers located the victim, a woman, who was shot in the upper body.

She was transported to a local hospital and is currently in serious condition.

Some time later, officers were notified of a second victim, a teenage male, who walked into a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

He has been treated and released from the hospital.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were talking in the parking lot when two suspects approached and shot them. Both suspects fled.

Detectives believe this was a targeted shooting and are continuing to investigate this incident. Anyone who may have additional information is asked to call 410-307-2020.
