BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — Police are investigating after a woman was shot in Lansdowne on Monday.
Officers were initially called to the area of Smith Avenue and Bryant Avenue at about 6:35 p.m. on Monday for a call of shots fired.
Officers did find evidence of a shooting but no victim at the scene. Detectives were then notified of a walk-in victim of a gunshot wound at an area hospital a short time later and were able to confirm that the victim, a 27-year-old woman, was shot at Smith and Bryant Avenue.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unconfirmed and under investigation.
