WESTMINSTER, Md. — A 10-year-old boy has been charged for intentionally setting a garage fire in Westminster Thursday evening.
Fire crews were called just after 5:10 p.m., to the 3500 block of Littlestown Pike.
It took 25 firefighters about ten minutes to contain the flames.
Luckily no one was hurt, but investigators estimate the fire caused $14,000.00 in property damage.
The child now faces 2nd Degree Arson, 1st-degree Malicious Burning, and Malicious Destruction of Property. He's been released to a guardian, and his case will be handed over to the Department of Juvenile Services.
