A Carroll County Sheriff’s Deputy and another driver were both injured Saturday afternoon in an accident when the deputy was enroute to another call.
Maryland State Police say just before 4:30 p.m., the deputy was responding to a call for backup by state troopers to assist near Gamber Rd and Cold Saturday Drive. As the deputy was driving north up Gamber Rd near Old Gamber Rd, the police cruiser and a Nissan Rogue collided. The deputy was taken to Shock Trauma with serious injuries; the driver of the Rogue was taken to Carroll Hospital.
