MANCHESTER, Md. (WMAR) — A Manchester man is dead following a crash Friday night in Carroll County.
The Sheriff's Office says 56-year-old Keefer Koogle Jr. was driving in the 3200 block of Chamil Drive at around 11:25 P.M., when for some reason he drove off the road.
His Doge Caravan crashed into a home mailbox, through a portion of a fence, and into a tree.
Koogle died at the scene.
Two unoccupied cars parked in the driveway of the home were also damaged from fallen tree debris.
Investigators are looking into what caused the crash.
