Students in Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS) could soon be prohibited from wearing the Confederate flag on clothing and accessories.
CCPS Supervisor of Community and Media Relations Carey Gaddis said the school board has asked the district's legal team to review the ban to see if it can legally enforced.
Officials hope to have a decision on the ban by the February 14 school board meeting.
