The Carroll County Sheriff's Office K9 "Pinky" will be receiving body armor.

Pinky will receive a bullet and stab proof protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. Her vest is sponsored by Valerie Wood of Maryland and will embroidered with, "Vest in honor of Ralph 'Woody' Wood and Buster."

Pinky began her career with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office in March 2015. She's currently the department's only bloodhound.
