A middle school shed fire has prompted an investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
The Sykesville Fire Department responded just before 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday to Sykesville Middle School located at 7301 Springfield Avenue in Carroll County.
It took crews about 10 minutes to knock down the fire. Officials say the 24' x 12' shed was heavily damaged.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
It's not yet clear what started the fire.
