The Carroll County Sheriff's Office are investigating a serious motorcycle crash in Westminster.
Sheriff, Fire and EMS units responded to the scene of a reported vehicle crash in the area of the 400 Block of John Owings Rd, Saturday. There they found a motorcycle off the roadway.
Investigators identified the driver as 56-year-old Carl David Lehr of Westminster. They believe Lehr was traveling east on John Owings Rd and left the roadway for a short time before getting back on John Owings Rd where he lost control and slid across the roadway onto the opposite shoulder.
Leher was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma by Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 3 with serious injuries.
