A school bus driver was cited for negligent driving on Tuesday after hitting a Jeep while transporting students.
Tuesday morning, the Carroll County Public Schools bus driven by Sandra Stigler was going eastbound on Baltimore Boulevard when it hit a Jeep Wrangler that was stopped for a red light.
The Jeep then hit the car in front of them, sending that driver to the hospital with minor injuries.
There were 34 students on the bus at the time of the crash on the way to East Middle School. The bus was not able to make it to the school and another bus had to pick them up.
No students were injured and Stigler was cited for negligent driving.
