CARROLL COUNTY, Md. — Two women have been charged with operating an unlicensed massage spa linked to prostitution in Carroll County.
On Wednesday, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office carried out a search warrant at Elite Spa in Eldersburg Plaza.
Based on information from the community and investigative operations, it was determined that unlicensed massage therapists were taking part in prostitution at the location.
Deputies arrested 57-year-old's Ying Chen and Ping Wan at the spa.
Each face charges of providing massage therapy without a license. Wang was also charged with prostitution.
