A woman lost her home and two of her pets in a fire on Monday.
Fire officials say the flames started in the kitchen and was discovered by a passerby in the 1100 block of Singer Drive. It took crews around 30 minutes to extinguish the fire.
Two cats and a dog were in the house at the time of the fire, but only one cat was able to escape. The Red Cross is assisting the owner of the home.
