A truck was destroyed in a fire after a smoking material was not disposed of properly.
Firefighters were called to the 800 block of E. Old Philadelphia Road just after 1 in the afternoon after the owner of a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 said his truck was on fire. It took seven firefighters around 10 minutes to extinguish the flames.
$5,000 worth of damage was done to the car and there were no reported injuries.
Fire officials say the fire started in the passenger compartment and was caused by a discarded smoking material.
