A man was rushed to the hospital for burns on his mouth, throat and nose after his home caught fire early Thursday morning.
The State Fire Marshal says crews were called to the Easton home shortly after 4 a.m.
The man was initially rushed to an Eastern Shore hospital before being moved to Johns Hopkins Bayview for his burns; he is expected to survive from his injuries.
Investigators believe the fire was caused by an electrical outlet malfunction in a bedroom.
35 responding firefighters were able to get the fire under control in an hour and a half.
