Equipment at a playground in Eden, Md. was destroyed in an early morning fire Sunday, the Office of the State Fire Marshal said.
After a passerby reported the blaze, Somerset County fire fighters responded to the 31700 block of Flower Hill Church Road at about 2:30 a.m. The flames were under control in about five minutes.
No one was injured, but the fire caused about $1,000 worth of damage after originating on the wooden deck of the playground, the Office of the Fire Marshal said.
