One person was killed and another was injured in a crash in Harford County Wednesday.
Just after 4 p.m. a crash involving a box truck and a pickup truck occurred on Mountain Road in Fallston.
According to Maryland State Police, a 17-year-old male from Baldwin, Md. was driving at 2015 Ford F-250 northbound on Mountain Road approaching Bel Air Road. For unknown reasons, the truck crossed the double yellow line into the southbound lane and collided with a 2013 Ford E-350 box truck.
The driver of the box truck, 57-year-old Conrad Giovanni Gilbert of Essex, Md. was pronounced dead at the scene. The 17-year-old was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital.
Southbound Mountain Road was closed for approximately three hours for the investigation. State police are continuing to investigate the incident.
