Maryland State police are investigating a serious crash involving a 10-year-old who was struck by a pickup truck in Fallston.
Police say emergency crews responded to the 2300 block of Harford Road for a reported crash.
The victim was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma shortly after the incident.
The boy was playing soccer in a nearby parking lot when the ball rolled in the street and a Ford F-350 hit the boy's right leg. The injury is not life-threatening.
