Baltimore man stabbed and injured in Edgwood

EDGEWOOD, Md. — The Harford County Sheriff's Office said a man was stabbed Thursday in Edgewood.

At 12:30 p.m., deputies were called to the area of the 100 block of Edgewood Road and Route 24 to investigate a stabbing. There, they found 28-year-old Vander Madison of Baltimore with stab wounds to his upper body.

He was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview for treatment. His injuries were listed as non-life-threatening.

Investigators believe Madison was walking on Edgewood Road when the man walked up behind him, trying to take his bag, just before the stabbing.
