BEL AIR, Md — Businesses and residents in the Harford County community are donating to the family of Tripp Johnson.
Charm City Run in Bel Air donated 20 percent of their profits Thursday towards the 7-year-old killed in a 12-car crash.
"It's great to see the community come together," said Ben Pickett, an employee of Charm City Run. "It's not something you ever want to see happen, it's great to see everyone out and doing something great for the community."
The giving does not stop there, several companies are raising money to support the Johnson family.
Auto Showcase in Fallston will donate $50 for every car sold through the end of the March. Bonefish Grill in Bel Air will host a fundraiser for the family Monday and donate 25 percent of its sales for the day.
The family also has a Go Fund Me pageset up by Tripp's mother's employer.
