BEL AIR, Md (WMAR) — A Harford County school is under heightened security after the circulation of a threatening social media post.
Officials with the Harford County Sheriff's Office say the threat involves Patterson Mill Middle High School.
Deputies have reportedly identified a suspect they believe to be responsible and have taken them for a medical evaluation.
As a precaution, the Sheriff's Office says they will deploy additional deputies to the school's property on Thursday.
No other details were made available, as the investigation is ongoing.
