HARFORD COUNTY, Md. — Harford County emergency officials have received several 911 calls Wednesday evening to report smoky and hazy conditions that are related to a wildfire in New Jersey.
It’s from a wildfire at the Winslow Wildlife Management Area in New Jersey.
The 911 Center in Baltimore County has also been receiving multiple calls in the Baltimore area related to heavy smoke conditions in the area due to the wildfire.
According to officials, the fire is now 95 percent contained.
NJ Wildfire - We currently have an odor of smoke and haze of smoke in Harford County due to a wildfire in Camden County, NJ. We are receiving a high number of 911 calls in reference to it at this time and are continuously assessing the situation.Thanks & be safe.
