The facility is overseen by Green Thumb Industries (GTI), which is a national marijuana provider.
Rise Joppa is GTI's third dispensary in Maryland. The company also operates Rise Silver Springs and Rise Bethesda.
Medical Marijuana is legal across 29 states, including Maryland.
