Man injured in Darlington crash dies

A man who was injured in a crash Sunday morning has died the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.

On December 27 deputies responded to a serious motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Granite Road and Maple Drive shortly after 4:30 a.m.

The driver of a 1997 Chevy 4S, 22-year-old Thomas Gentry of Darlington was traveling south on Granite Road when Gentry lost control and strike a utility pole.

Gentry was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma where he died of his injuries early Monday afternoon, officials said.

There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
