Bus riders in Harford County can now track the bus they want to get on by using a computer, smartphone or mobile device.
RouteShout is an app that shows users when the next bus will arrive at any county bus stop. Users can also see bus schedules and stops along established routes. If any changes or disruptions of the bus service are made, the app will notify users.
“Our goal is to eliminate the guesswork for bus riders and help them get where they need to go, whether it’s to work, school, or an important appointment,” said County Executive Barry Glassman. “Using this technology allows my administration to make public transportation more practical and convenient for our citizens.”
RouteShout is available on Google Play and Apple's App Store for free. Choose “Harford County Transportation Services” from the app's menu to view Harford Transit LINK routes.
