A phone scam is targeting residents in Harford County. The caller says his name is John, he's with the "foundation" and he's asking for donations to the fire service.
Don't give him any money. Remember that the fire department will not ask for donations through telephone.
Several people commented on the Fire & EMS PIO Facebook post claiming they had received a call from the man. Two people said he is also calling from (410) 670-5107 and (410) 204-1005.
