ABINGDON, Md. — The Harford County Sheriff's Department is investigating a stabbing at an Abingdon bar early Thursday morning.
Deputies responded to the Bushmill Tavern on of Philadelphia Road, at 2:11a.m. and found an adult male suffering from stab wounds in his upper body.
The man taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.
After an initial investigation, deputies say the victim and other unknown people got into a verbal fight at the tavern that continued outside and became physical. At least one person is suspected to be involved and fled the scene before deputies could get there.
No further information has been released at this time. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Harford County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division at 410-836-5436. If the information you provide leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
