A teacher at Glenelg High School is facing several drinking and driving-related charges following a crash in Howard County last week.
Christian Callender, a social studies teacher at the Howard County school, was involved in an accident in the area of Ten Oaks Road and Brighton Dam Road around 7:49 a.m. Jan. 5, shortly before classes began.
Callender is charged with driving while impaired by alcohol, driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance and two related charges.
