UPDATE: Howard County Police confirm Mr. Landen was found deceased; there are no indications of foul play involved. According to a release, the body of Mr. Landen was found on the grounds around Centennial High School Monday morning by a school resource officer conducting a search of the grounds. Police believe he was walking his dog who was found near his body alive.
Investigators say no foul play was indicated; weather may have been a factor.
Police had asked for the public's help in locating a missing man with dementia from Ellicott City in Howard County.
64-year-old Stephen Landen took his dog for a walk around 5 p.m. Sunday, in his neighborhood of Chateau Ridge Drive.
When he didn't come home, his family called police.
Landen's family was worried because he is not dressed appropriately for the rainy, cold weather.
The man was last seen wearing a striped polo shirt, khaki pants, and a medical bracelet with his information on it.
