A person was killed after a tour bus and pick up truck collided early Thursday evening in Laurel.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the 9600 block of Fort Meade Rd. at approximately 6 p.m. after a motor coach and pickup truck crashed, Prince George's County fire officials said.
The driver of the pickup truck was trapped and had to be rescued by firefighters. The driver of the truck was transported to a nearby hospital and later died, officials said.
The bus was carrying 59 tourists from Turkey who were exploring the US.
Seven people on the bus complained of minor injuries and ailments and were taken to a local hospital, officials said.
