HOWARD COUNTY, Md. — *UPDATE: Kaitlyn Lee Firth has been found safe and unharmed.
Howard County Police are asking for the public's help to locate a 14-year-old girl from Jessup.
Police say Kaitlyn Lee Firth walked away from her home at about 7:17 p.m. Sunday night.
According to police, she was not wearing shoes and did not take her cell phone or any other personal belongings.
Officers searched extensively overnight using K-9s and a drone but have been unable to find her.
Firth is 5'0", weighs 92 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink tank top, gray shorts and no shoes.
