A pre-trial hearing is underway in Rockville for Tyler Tessier. A new trial date is being set.
Tessier is accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend, Laura Wallen, in September of 2017.
In Friday’s hearing audio from a jail phone call between Tyler Tessier and his father was played.

Laura Wallen’s mother, Gwen, screamed at Tessier’s father about how he would’ve been a grandfather. Tessier’s family ran out of the courtroom sprinting for his car. Gwen was stopped by police & started sobbing. @ABC2NEWS

Laura Wallen, a popular teacher at Wilde Lake High School was 13 weeks pregnant when police say Tessier shot her and buried her at a property in Montgomery County. There was an area wide search for her after she disappeared September 4th. Her body was found September 13th.
