Two drivers involved in West Friendship fatal car crash identified

WEST FRIENDSHIP, Md. — Howard County Police have identified the two drivers that were involved in Tuesday's fatal car crash.

The driver of the Mercedes C300, 31-year-old Bohan Li, of Pasadena, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, but has since been released. The female passenger that was in the car with Li was pronounced dead on the scene. She has been identified, but her name will not be released until her family is notified. However, this process may be delayed since they live outside of the country.

The driver of the Ford F-250, 46-year-old John Edward Turner, of Marriottsville, was not seriously injured.

Route 32 northbound was closed at I-70 for about four hours on Tuesday.
