COLUMBIA, Md. (WMAR) — A Howard County Police officer was captured on video salsa dancing while directing traffic following a concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Monday night.
The officer was dancing along with John Richard Mercier who happened to be outside the facility playing reggae music as the concert let out.
Some concertgoers who the officer was directing along a cross walk even joined in on the entertainment.

On his Instagram, Mercier describes himself as a music therapist who loves dancing.
