Starting Tuesday, November. 5, there will be temporary lane closure on the Bay Bridge.
According to the Maryland Transportation Authority, the center lane of the Bay Bridge will temporarily close from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on weekdays.
MDTA said during the closure, wide-loads (permit vehicles greater than 10 feet wide) will be restricted and operators should adjust to the travel time. This is a plan to for crews working on the bridge, to work in warmer temperatures.
Officials believe the temporary closure during daytime hours will best help shortening the project.
