The Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) says as of Saturday evening, they have restored power to 326,000 of the 400,000 customers who lost power during the damaging winds that began on Friday.

BGE says crews have been working around-the-clock throughout the weekend in hopes of restoring the remaining homes without power by Sunday evening. Some of the more heavily damaged areas from the nor’easter that swept through central Maryland and more rural areas may take a few more days to repair.

BGE also said crews from sister utility companies have also come to aid the effort.

BGE asks all customers, including those with smart meters, to report their outage. Outages may be reported online at BGE.com and via BGE’s free mobile app available at the Apple Store [itunes.apple.com] or Google Play [play.google.com].  Customers may also report outages and downed wires by calling 877-778-2222, on BGE.com and through mobile devices.
