It was a weird turn of events, or as some would say, karma is real and it sure does strike back.
Prince George's Police Department released surveillance footage of a September 20 burglary that showed a man throwing a brick or rock object at a window in an effort to break in.

According to police, he successfully shattered the front glass and entered the carryout business on the 4000 block of Suitland Road.
Then he used the same object to strike the counter glass two times.
On his third attempt, it was obvious that the rock had other plans.
Apparently, the window was made of bulletproof glass and when the rock struck the glass, it boomeranged back and hit the burglar right in the head.
It was a blow so strong that in the surveillance footage you can see the suspect fall to the ground where he laid there painfully for a couple of minutes before fleeing the scene.
