Prince George's County Police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old woman for setting her mother's house on fire.
Police say fire crews were dispatched to a mobile home park around 1:00 am on Monday for an initial call of a woman damaging her mother's property.
A few moments later a simultaneous 911 call reported a fire at the same location.
When Prince George's County Police and Fire crews arrived at the scene, they saw flames coming from the trailer home. Crews were able to control the fire without any injuries reported.
An investigation revealed that the homeowner's daughter, Amanda Hooker started the fire.
Hooker was arrested and has been charged with Arson- First Degree, Arson- 2nd Degree, Malicious Burning 1st Degree, Malicious Burning 2nd Degree.
The fire loss was estimated at $80,000.
