GREENBELT, Md. — One of Baltimore's most sought after defense attorney's was in court on Tuesday, facing false racketeering, money laundering and drug charges.
Kenneth Wendell Ravenell was the attorney for Keon Gray who was convicted in the murder of Taylor Hayes in August.

A federal judge restricted Ravenell's travels on Tuesday to just Maryland and DC. Ravenell appeared before a federal judge in Greenbelt for his upcoming trial.
The prosecutor told the judge he had 39 witnesses on his list for the trial, one of them is Ravenell's son and another is an attorney that Ravenell is working with currently on a case.
The judge said Ravenell may not have any contact they other witnesses at all, but he can speak with the other attorney and his son but his conversations can not involve the case against Ravenell.
Charges in this trial carry a sentence up to and including life in prison.
