E-Z Pass Maryland is experiencing technical issues resulting in its website and interactive voice response system to be inoperable.
Officials say intermittent issues began on Friday, October 12.
Due to the temporary shutdown, no civil penalties will be assessed to customers attempting to make Notice of Toll Due payments through Wednesday, October 17.
The system officials say was not breached and therefore customer accounts and data haven't been compromised.
In the meantime, the E-Z Pass Maryland Call Center is open until 6 p.m.
