A federal judge in Seattle, Washington will hear arguments Tuesday on whether a Texas company can post blueprints for 3D printable guns on the internet.
U.S. District Judge Robert Lasnik had issued a temporary restraining order to stop the release on July 31.
19 states including Maryland and the District of Columbia want to make that order permanent.
Second amendment supporters say it's too late because the printable plans are readily available.
