Former Maryland Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown wins 4th Congressional District seat

Former Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown has been elected to the U.S. House. 
 
Brown, a Democrat, who ran unsuccessfully for Maryland governor two years ago, defeated Republican George McDermott, Green Party member Kamesha Clark and Libertarian Benjamin Krause. 
 
Brown ran for the seat vacated by U.S. Rep. Donna Edwards, who ran for retiring Sen. Barbara Mikulski's seat and lost.
