Stevenson University will continue its expansion.

State officials plan on handing over the 117 acres that belonged to the former Rosewood Hospital Center to the university. The Board of Public Works is set to vote on the proposal Wednesday.

The state is expected to spend millions of dollars to clean up environmental problems on the site that was used for decades as an institution for the developmentally disabled before it closed in 2009.
