Staff Sgt. William Joseph Kundrat was killed in the military plane crash in Mississippi Monday.
Although the Marines have not released the names of the dead, the family of Staff Sgt. Kundrat confirmed his death on Facebook. His mother Lynda posted the following Tuesday evening:
The Marine Corps just informed us that our Son SSGT William Joseph Kundrat was killed in the plane crash yesterday in Mississippi.
In another post Wednesday, Lynda said she was grateful for everyone who offered condolences. She asked for continued prayers.
