We're still nine months away from election day, but the Goucher Poll is giving us some early indicators of where voters stand on the Governor's race.
In a new poll released overnight, 61 percent of those surveyed approve of the job Larry Hogan is doing as Governor, 47 percent say they are leaning toward or will definitely re-elect him, while 43 percent say they are leaning toward another candidate.
When it comes to the issues, 28 percent of respondents say the economy and jobs is the number one priority, 24 percent said education, and 13 percent said taxes.
Another factor highlighted in the Goucher Poll was President Trump's influence on the Maryland Governor's race. 38 percent say Trump will influence their vote, while 60 percent say he will not.
