Habitat for Humanity teams up with Lowe's for National Women Build Week

In honor of National Women Build Week, Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna and Lowe's invited women volunteers to rehab a home in Joppa. 

Officials said 100 volunteers from three Lowe's locations in Bel Air, Parkville and White Marsh will install insulation, fence repairs and staining, dry walling, gardening, and, siding at the home Thursday.  

The event will take place from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. 

National Build Week was created by Habitat for Humanity and Lowe’s. 

According to officials, more than 117,000 all-women construction volunteers have built or repaired more than 4,500 homes.
